Yesterday, the year 5’s took part in 4 taster day lessons which included Maths, Science, English and Social Science.

They also got to know our Secondary staff and spent their breaks and lunchtime with the Secondary Years learning partners and really settled in well in the short time they were with them.

They enjoyed the day, made some great memories, and are now even more excited for what’s ahead next year! 🌟

Our learning partner Tommy and his parents organized something truly special for 17-year-old Kilian and his family.

Kilian has been bravely battling cancer since the age of 2 and as a true car lover, his biggest wish was to explore the world of Porsche and Mercedes.

Last Friday, our school community came together for a delicious BBQ. It was such a great — and yes, very sunny — afternoon! ☀️

The event was organised by our wonderful Primary Years Student Council with the support of our Parents and Friends group, bringing everyone together to eat, laugh, and chat.

Today, our Year 3 learning partners visited Tierheim Neustadt to learn about the incredible work being done to care for animals in need.

They were warmly welcomed by Werner Bösel, the chairman of the association, who generously took the time to show the children around and explain the shelter’s important mission.

The learning partners absolutely loved the experience - and they even got to pet some of the animals! 🐶🐱

Last Thursday, we had so much fun celebrating our International Festival. It was truly inspiring to see parents, staff, and learning partners come together to create a vibrant and memorable event for our entire community.

We “traveled” to Turkey, the US, Canada, Australia, India, Spain, Germany, Poland, the UK, and South Africa...

Our learning partners had worked hard during the previous months to learn lots of new skills to many of them. Navigation, use of a compass, identifying bearings and pacing out distances between checkpoints, basic campcraft, first aid and so on and at last, the time was here to assess the team on how they could navigate their way through a series of predesignated checkpoints successfully and to survive a night in an unknown campsite.

On 30 April, our students impressed us with their creativity, hard work and scientific curiosity at the first annual ISN Science Fair! From forming hypotheses to designing experiments, collecting data, and presenting findings — everyone did a fantastic job.
