Welcome to INternational School Neustadt
International School Neustadt opened its doors in 2005 and is recognized today as a leader in modern pedagogy within the Rheinland-Palatinate.
As an accredited Cambridge Exam Centre, ISN offers the esteemed Cambridge Primary, IGCSE, and A-level programmes. However, our school is not just a place where students prepare for standardized tests.
Not only do we aim to provide children with a high-quality education but we also believe in building future skills such as passion, resilience, global identity, sustainability, entrepreneurship and the ability to act outside the box. In doing so we take into account the basic needs of the learning partners (students), the individual challenges and difficulties of the children as well as current issues and trends.
At ISN we envision a school in which the individual passions and talents of each child are valued and fostered, embedded in the belief that each human being is unique and deserves to develop into their own personality.

ISN BROCHURE
Foundation
ISN was founded in 2005 by the Verband der Holz- und Kunststoffverarbeitenden Industrie Rheinland-Pfalz e.V (Association of the Wood and Plastics Processing Industry, Rhineland-Palatinate) together with the financial support of SBW Haus des Lernens. Recognised by the state of Rheinland-Pfalz, International School Neustadt is an accredited supplementary school ('anerkannte Ergänzungsschule'), authorised by the German Ministry of Education.

Founded as the first English-medium International School in Neustadt

Cambridge International Certified School for IGCSE and GCE
Accredited by the University of Cambridge for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and GCE Advanced level examination centre as well as a 'Teachers and Trainers Diploma' centre
2012
EXPANSION
An additional building - Campus 3 (Winzingerstr.), was set up to accommodate our growing Secondary Years
2017
Developing Campus 1 and 2
Large renovation work was done on Campus 1 and 2 which included expanding the existing library, setting up a music room and launching our first Learn Atelier.

First school in Germany to introduce the AI-driven learning platform, Century Tech

Cambridge Advanced
The newest addition to ISN’s Cambridge Pathway focuses on five core subjects (Math, English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics) in the form of classical classroom teaching, along with an additional 15+ subjects offered online via a self-study pathway.

Launch of the SBW Future Skills™ Concept which focuses on giving our learning partners the tools they need to be successful in an ever-changing world. Future Skills include: passion, resilience, sustainability, entrepreneurship, global identity and acting outside the box.

Our new home
ISN moved all of its facilities to its new campus - the 19th century historical landmark building at Haardter Strasse 1.
