In both our Primary and Secondary Years, lessons begin at 08:30 and end at 15:30. On Wednesdays, school ends at 12:00 in Primary Years and 13:00 in Secondary Years.

ISN offers morning and after school care (for all students) free of charge. Morning care begins at 08:00 and all children are supervised until the beginning of the school day at 08:30. After-school care for children in Primary Years takes place directly after the end of the school day and lasts until 17:00.

ISN’s After School Activities Programme offers learning partners a variety of opportunities to develop their interests, passions and talents and to discover new ones.

Our After School Activities Programme begins at the end of the school day and finishes at 17:00 every day. The activities offered vary throughout the year, and have included guitar lessons, chess club, arts and crafts, etc.

Our programmes are fun, and enriching for the learning partners as they interact with peers of different age groups in a supervised environment. Separate registration is required for the fee-based After School Activities Programme.

A balanced and healthy diet is the basis for the optimal development of your child. That is why International School Neustadt relies on an experienced local catering company, Sonneck, which prepares the daily school meals mainly from fresh produce such as meat, fish, vegetables and fruit, using regional ingredients and foods wherever possible. Vegetarian and gluten free alternatives are also available daily.

Should allergens be part of the food served, they will be identified in advance in accordance with German law (Deutsche Lebensmittelinformations-Verordnung (LMIV).
