End of 2026 Reflection

As the 2026 school year comes to an end, students look back on a year filled with new knowledge, valuable experiences, and personal growth. While everyone is ready for a well-deserved break, we will first share their highlights and reflections from the year.

The International Festival and Halloween celebration were major successes and are frequently mentioned by both younger and older learning partners (LPs) as two of their favorite memories. Families and friends came together to represent countries from all over the world, reflecting our school’s diversity and highlighting the dedication and support of our parents. Their involvement makes events like these possible. The close connection between our older and younger students is also very important to us, as it prepares LPs for social interactions and helps them develop important values such as empathy, responsibility, and respect.

Our IGCSE and A-Level LPs agree on the most valuable advice they can offer students entering their grades next year: “Start studying as soon as possible” and “stay on track from the beginning.” Although exam season is known to be challenging, our LPs felt well prepared. Thanks to the support of our mentors and teachers, exam preparation is made as manageable as possible. They guide us throughout the process and help relieve unnecessary stress. Lernatelier (LA) lessons are particularly valuable, as they provide students with dedicated time to complete homework, revise, or study. This helps reduce the amount of work that needs to be done during free time, allowing students to pursue activities outside of school. At the same time, the responsibility of using this time effectively helps students develop important skills such as time management and organization from an early age.

When asked to describe the school in three words, the most common responses were “supportive,” “welcoming,” and “individualistic.” We are incredibly proud of these descriptions because they reflect our school’s core values and strengths. Our classes are remarkably small, making it easier to identify challenges early and provide individual support when needed. Teamwork is highly valued and helps strengthen relationships between students while preparing them for future professional environments. In a small school community, it is especially important that everyone feels respected, comfortable, and included. Unacceptable behavior is addressed promptly to maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere for all.

Overall, the 2026 school year was an incredible success. From the graduation of the Class of 2026 to the acquisition of new knowledge and experiences, the year was filled with achievements and memorable moments. Most importantly, it was a year in which we witnessed tremendous growth, not only academically, but also personally, as students continued to develop into confident and capable individuals.
