What a great start of the new school year!

We were really happy to welcome back learning partners and parents and to greet the newest members of our community! Primary Learning Partners had the chance to meet their new teachers and classmates, go through school routines and to set essential agreements (classroom guidelines) with their teachers. Homeroom teachers prepared a lot of fun activities for our learning partners and were eager to hear how their summers were. Some of our older Primary learning partners even had brainstorming sessions with their specialist teachers (P.E., Music and Art) to come up with new Creativa projects to work on together.

Secondary learning partners began a three-day orientation period during which they were introduced to the exciting new changes at SY – a new campus, coaching and Personal Development Day – an entire day focused on developing their individual talents, passions and skills! The SY team prepared a lot of fun ice breaker activities as well, giving learning partners the chance to make new friends and to get to know their new teachers.

It was a fun day for both Primary Years and Secondary Years who now share one campus, helping strengthen ISN’s sense of community! We hope that the rest of the school year is as exciting as today.
