Information Evening September 2022

Neustadt an der Weinstraße, September 15th 2022

During ISN's first Information Evening of the year, Vjeko, our General Manager/School Principal, gave a presentation about where our community is at the moment, where we plan on going in the future and how we can get there. He shared more information about the Cambridge International programmes, introducing parents to Global Perspectives Units in the Primary Years and the A-Level programme in the Secondary Years. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award was also in focus as ISN plans on introducing this prestigious programme this semester.

Vjeko explained the importance of external events such as Poetry Day and our International Festival in strengthening our school's local presence and building our reputation as regional leaders in private education. These events, along with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, will be part of the Future Skills™ concept that ISN will launch during the course of the year. Vjeko stressed how important community involvement will be this school year and how we rely on parents, learning partners and staff to contribute to our community's development.

Parents showed great interest in the Information Evening, and the event was well attended. Everyone agreed that the school year is off to a great start, and parents were happy to share their impressions after Vjeko's presentation. A special thank goes to our caring P&F Committee, who provided snacks and refreshments during the event!
