The life and decay of beer foam: DP2 gets experimental

DP2 have been carrying out a number of experiments recently, together with our new physics teacher, Dr. Kerstin Klein. The first experiment was about measuring the half-life and decay constant of beer foam. The learning partners were able to learn about decay processes in nature without having to handle radioactive materials.

The second experiment was about calculating the heat capacity of different materials from stones to steel. Material physics is one of the most used topics in engineering.

Wishing our students continuous success in their investigations.
