Lps used their knowledge of maps to navigate terrain and worked together as a team to survive. In April, during the Spring Market and Open Sunday in Neustadt, ISN had the great opportunity to set up a stand and offer visitors a chance to learn more about our wonderful school.Our community served homemade waffles and crêpes, conducted science experiments, carved soapstone into amulets and offered face painting. Y5-6 recently went on a field trip to the BASF Kid's Lab in Ludwigshafen to take part in the "Smart Future" workshop. In this program lps experiment on socially relevant topics such as climate change or plastics recycling and also learn why a modern laboratory needs digital technology.Thank you BASF for giving our young scientists this great opportunity!

Our youngest lps had a great time exploring the surroundings around our school, looking for living things, and making other observations about our neighbourhood. Everyone enjoyed eating a snack in a local playground - the Spielplatz an der Festwiese.

The entire ISN community took part in Book Week this March - a five-day event which focuses on promoting a love of reading. The event kicked off with teachers coming to school dressed as book characters and then lps took part in the ‘Story as a School’ activity. Each teacher brought in an interesting or unusual object and started creating a story with their class using the object. ISN’s annual Carnival celebration was a big event in February! Organised by the Duke of Edinburgh community, with the goal of raising funds for charity, the fun-filled day included great games like Jenga, football, Tic-Tac-Toe, frisbee and hoops which lps got to try outside on our new playground area.
