ISN is among the happiest schools worldwide! 💛
In October, our Primary learning partners from Year 2-5 took part in a Pupil Attitude to Self and School Survey, from GL Education.
The Pupil Attitudes to Self and School (PASS) is a short self-evaluation survey that is used to gain insight into attitudes that could be hindering achievement. It helps capture feelings about school and teachers, and helps to detect possible barriers to learning, including issues around confidence, resilience, motivation, concentration, disaffection, and alienation.
The survey looks at 9 attitudinal factors:
Feelings about school
Perceived learning capability
Self-regard, as a learner
Preparedness for learning
Attitudes to teachers
General work ethic
Confidence in learning
Attitudes to attendance
Response to curriculum demands
Our Primary School results show outstanding levels of positivity and resilience among our learners—a true reflection of their enthusiasm and the caring support of our school community.
As a school we scored extremely high in all of the areas but, the highest scoring areas were:
Feelings about school,
Preparedness for learning
Attitudes to teachers
Response to curriculum demands
General work ethic
We are absolutely thrilled with these outstanding results! Such high scores across all categories are rare and truly reflect the strength of our wonderful school community. They place us among the happiest schools worldwide — a remarkable achievement! Our learning partners clearly feel positive and proud to be part of our school. They love coming to school each day, enjoy connecting with staff and friends, and truly flourish in our caring and supportive environment.
